Mann Ki Baat episode: PM Modi spoke about My Bharat
Prime minister Narendra Modi highlighted the use of ‘Vocal for Local’ during festivals.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the 106th episode of his monthly radio programme 'Mann ki Baat'.
“Like every time, this time too, in our festivals, our priority should be 'Vocal for Local' and let us together fulfill that dream, our dream is 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'. India is becoming the biggest manufacturing hub of the world."
While addressing the episode of the Mann Ki Baat radio program on Sunday, said that Khadi Mahotsav has broken all records this month.
"This episode is happening at a time when there is enthusiasm for festivals in the entire country. Many congratulations to all of you for all the upcoming festivals,” Modi said.
Encouraging tourists to buy local products PM Modi said, “Friends, today I want to repeat one more request to you and repeat it very insistently. Whenever you go on tourism or pilgrimage, then you should buy the products made by the local artists."
PM urged countrymen to insist for UPI payment while making payments.
PM Modi hailed India's achievements in Asian GamesGames and said “My dear countrymen, in this festive season, the flag of sports is also flying in the country."
"Recently, after the Asian Games, Indian players have also achieved tremendous success in the Para Asian Games."
PM Modi said, "The foundation of a very big nationwide organization is being laid on 31st October and that too on the birth anniversary of Sardar Saheb. The name of this organization is - MY Bharat. MY Bharat organization will provide an opportunity for the youth of India to play an active role in various nation-building events," the Prime Minister said.
